Well, if Thailand thinks that banning, and discriminating foreigners from public transport, venues, and tourist spots, etc is going to help the already hard hit tourism sector they need to rethink their poorly thought out strategy.

If they keep adding nails to it's coffin of discriminatory policies against tourists, nobody will want to visit Thailand anymore, and will choose other countries, which are more welcoming to foreigners who contribute to the economy.

Countries that are not discriminatory to foreigners!

Shame on them! 😑

Hmmm, I would think that idea through very carefully given the present state of things here at the moment. There's already a 7.3% contraction in the Thai economy with a 12% contraction seen in the second quarter. It's expected to continue into the third, and fourth quarter. Not to mention at least a 72% dip in tourist numbers.

Things will only get worse before they get better!

She's jobless remember, and as she herself stated, that kind of money is, "Too much to bear". An Elite Visa is not an option. The only workable solution so far is mine.

Needs be where the devil drives: Necessity compels. 🀣

Hmmm πŸ™„πŸ’¬

Jobless, and want to stay in Thailand forever?

Well, nothing lasts forever, so we will change that to jobless, and want to stay in Thailand until the day I die with my girlfriend.

Solution: Keep your girlfriend, marry a Thai man with lots of cash, get Thai citizenship, and all live together happily ever after (mé·nage Γ  trois). πŸ˜‰

My baby girl was born in Abu Dhabi. I was given 2 birth certificates for her. One in Arabic, and one in English. You need the English translation, copies of your passport plus ID, and your wife's. Also, your marriage certificate, and proof she wasn't married before.

I did it all by online application from Abu Dhabi, and sent the documents by courier.

It's straight forward. Just follow the online instructions.

It took me 8 weeks to receive my daughter's British passport. I would have got it sooner, but I neglected to provide the proof my wife had not been married before. After I provided the certificate they released the passport.

If you are talking about entering the country you will at present also need 100,000 USD health insurance, which covers Covid19 in Thailand.

Good luck with acquiring that πŸ™„πŸ’¬

Ivor Paul You don't need to leave the country bro. But you do need to report to immigration every 90 days I believe. The Hand to Hand Combat School is in Chiang Mai only. They have a Facebook page where you can contact them directly. They come highly recommended and will look after you.

You may also want to consider the cost of living in Phuket is way more expensive compared to other places in Thailand.
