I bought one in Thailand just 3 weeks ago for 26,000 baht for 1 year.

The same company initially quoted 72,000 baht but after 1 month offered the same policy with the same insurance provider for 46,000 baht cheaper

Morale of the story don’t take the 1st price just keep telling them your still interested and ready to buy 😂😂

I said get a 30 day visa exemption on arrival and then extend it at the local immigration office

When the extension visa has expired go to a border crossing by land and come straight back which gives 15 days

Now tell me which part did you not understand 🤔

Yes I agree with the current data protection etc. the bank would not allow them access plus the time involved 24 hrs it would never work.

Interesting that in this modern age of technology it is open to be abused…. And it will 🤔

Could always get a visa exception at Airport arrivals in Bangkok and apply for an additional 30 day at any immigration office just before it expires Very easy to do.

When that’s about to expire do a border trip get a 15 day visa land crossing gives him 75 days altogether

Little paperwork involved and a lot of agents in Thailand will organise the border crossing for him

Do they retain the bank statements or just check them at the counter and hand then back on the 1st day please ??

With your luck you’ll most probably get stopped on the bus going to the Airport and get thrown in Jail 😂
