Has anyone recently had experience in obtaining a 60 day Tourist Visa 4 Thailand from UK.

The official Thai website requires loads of documentation which seems OTT.

Thanks in Advance 👍

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses experiences of individuals who have recently applied for a 60-day Tourist Visa for Thailand from the UK. Multiple participants note that the application process at the London embassy is relatively straightforward and quick, typically taking 2-3 business days for processing. While some find the documentation requirements excessive, they share tips regarding submitting irrelevant sections of the application (such as marking them as 'not applicable') and confirm the importance of having all necessary documents ready, including proof of a return or onward flight. Overall, users express that patience may be needed given potential waivers and the workload involved in the application.

Yes I got 60 day tourist visa from UK about 75 days ago. It is a ballache submitting those 12 pieces of paperwork but honestly it’s worth it, I never get any hassle and my passport is full of them.

yes you could have a valid point there Tom 👍 although the 60 days then becomes 75 days so it’s 6 and of one and half a dozen of the other 👍

You could always do a border bounce and get the second 45 day waiver.

I got my original 90 day non o visa from them about a year and a half ago. Just gave them what they asked for and received the visa within a few days. Good service, no problems.

Thanks Steve, some of the documents required required on the application aren’t relevant like a letter of invitation from where I am staying whilst in Thailand, as I will br travelling around I have no one to confirm that document so I will try the “Not Relevant” answer like some one has suggested

London is one of the easiest and fastest embassies to get a visa in the world. They usually issue visas within 2-3 Business days after being submitted. There are some questions that probably aren't relevant to you if you're just looking for a tourist visa and you can try uploading an image that says "not applicable" and if then if they want more information they will email you.

That’s seems like worth trying Brandon because some of the documents required seem more like the kind you would need to submit for a 1 year visa !

I am not travelling till mid April so thanks for your advice worth a try 👍
