My brother was stucking in Doha airport last week when he flew back to UK viz he didn't book the roon to stay.
So the plan left him and he had to buy new ticket to KL to London.

OPThanks to all replies it was just a grey area which needed clarification. Flights are cheap compared to Thai Airlines and BA. direct route.

I never heard of a country other than China that required tests be conducted at transit airports. They tried at ICN, but it was impractical and scrapped. Stephen ************

It's not needed in Dubai so I don't know why it would be needed in Doha.
