for soft power you need to pay additional money. If you're pursuing hobbies or learning, maybe soft power is ok. Otherwise, why spend additional money just for the visa?

Just form a company, declare yourself as the manager, and give yourself a salary. But prepare the documents and don't send them unless they ask for them. That is my plan for next year, in April, when I will be in the US.

Two visas are independent of each other. Either you have the visa sticker in your passport or a separate pdf announcing your visa approval, I assume.

Don't they ask the same for an online eVisa application? It has been a while since I applied for an eVisa to Thailand, However, I checked the old saved folder, and I see a pdf file with previous visas.

yes. It does not matter what visa you possess or how you entered legally. You are obligated to report to IO if you stay 90 days or more consecutively. The only exception is the LTR visa holders.
