the risk is if stopped by police etc before you leave you will be taken to the immigration cells at the airport until your flight. Not a place you want to be
I think you are looking at the worst options. Plenty of ASQ around 30k, can arrive on visa waver and extend for 30 days. Gives you time to look at in country visa options. Worst case speak to an agent, still way cheaper than you are talking about
I know you can request the UK sending bank to send in GBP and not THB. So GBP arrives in Thailand, usually then they exchange it to THB but as you have a GBP account they could deposit the GBP into that account. I'm guessing there will be charges but not as much as no FX takes place
TW is not an option as their business model is having local currency in country. So in Thailand they would only ever have THB there would never be GBP available. Most of the transfer services are similar. It may be that you have to go down the SWIFT route. Unless you are travelling to Thailand soon and can carry the funds and pay in when in Bangkok
they would never know if it was home or not. My initial test with axiom was carried out in a pharmacy, i did all the swabs and they sent it off. The pharmacy charged £150. It was only when checking if the test arrived at axiom that i saw i could have done it direct with them for £99. You are still emailed the same results so airlines or anyone else would not know if it's a home test or not
i did mine Tuesday and it arrived with them Wednesday morning. I called them Wednesday lunchtime and they confirmed it's reciept and advised i would get result by 8pm. Result arrived around 7.45pm i flew on the Friday morning. Your plan should work, just check the tracking the morning after you send it to see if it has arrived
axiom were great, always someone answered any call. I called to confirm they had the test all confirmed on a call and also confirmed result by 8pm which arrived. Dr Donna was on WhatsApp by 1am (5 hours later) and fit to fly was in my inbox 30 minutes later. Very easy
