Anonymous participant 345 seminars are allowed for the DTV. If an entrepreneur sets one up that is acceptable to a number of embassies then good for them. The DTV will not get cancelled on the basis of this. Personally believe they will not change any of the requirements.

Anonymous participant 345 zero reasons for it to be cancelled. More likely promoted heavier to get more people using it

Anonymous participant 345 why hopefully? You get your DTV why concern yourself with how others obtain theirs. You don't make the rules. If some embassies accept then great. A Thai entrepreneur has done a good job in providing a service.

If that is their "new" policy then they miss out on all the non O visa holders as non of them are working either

It's also possible they just didn't want to do it. 5 days seems an extremely long time for a process that usually takes around 20 minutes

Which branch was it that denied you?

Recent reports show Jakarta has been processing in about 3 days. Not guaranteed but a couple of people have reported this speed in the last week

you may have got it for dental implants for example. They were happy to issue the visa at the beginning why would they then insist on further dental treatment? It doesn't make any sense
