TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around a user's inquiry about using attendance at a music festival as a reason to apply for a visa to Thailand. Comments suggest skepticism about this approach, with no known cases of approval based solely on music festival attendance. Participants emphasize the importance of being a participant rather than just an attendee and express frustration over the leniency of visa application criteria.

Yep... give away a 5-year-visa to someone who attends a 5 day festival, why not? We had one time dentist appointments already, 3 day cooking classes and f@ke Gym/Muay Thai classes. Why not just open the border for everyone...? 🙄🤔🤨😒
certainly seems to be the case, doesn’t it? But don’t worry, some poor guy who’s married to a Thai lady or retired here will be doing cartwheels now tomorrow at the local immigration. Just trying to get a one year stamp.
Anonymous participant so you're applying via soft power - music festival or just asking online about this option, less than 24 hour before you apply 🤔?
