If you want the visa, follow the requirements and deposit the money, no matter how long.

As very clearly stated on most Thai Embassy websites, you will NOT get any reason for cancellation of the visa application from the Embassy.

Go to the immigration office and ask / cancel your current visa before.

Just either cross a border or do an extension, then you can stay all year round.

No, it has to be readyli available at all times, in f.ex. if you pay for hospital before you get treatment.

If the bulk of your supporting documents are in another language than Thai or English, you could benefit from using a Embassy in the country the documents originated from, and avoid being asked for additional documentation, which would put the application processing time back to zero.

You have to consider the reason for the 500.000 baht deposit, that you should be able to pay a fine, hospitalbilln and other such sudden big expenses immediately and without having to ask your father to wire you money.

When you realize that, it is easier to comprehend why it has to be your own money and not from a guarantee.

Best advice stay in the country where applied until visa granted, if not wanting to be rejected and loose 10.000+ baht fee.
