Who has had experience with the DTV Soft Power Visa attending cooking or Muy Thai courses in Chiang Mai, and then moved to another city (Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket) and continued courses with a different school in a different city?

Looking forward to hearing your experience. Feel free to reach out!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV Soft Power Visa allows individuals to continue their chosen activities, such as cooking or Muay Thai courses, even if they relocate to a different city in Thailand. Experiences shared indicate that moving from Chiang Mai to other cities like Bangkok and enrolling in different schools for continued training is acceptable, as long as the activities align with the visa's purpose.

Knowing that you’re ready to maintain active soft power activities while staying in Thailand, it shouldn’t be an issue. They may change the system, but you’ll still be following the main reasons for which you were granted a 5-year visa. Many people aren’t even planning to do so and may face issues before you. It’s always wise not to be at the top of the list in Thailand.

I know a couple of people who started MT in CM and moved to BKK with different schools, it is ok to do as you are continuing the activity you were awarded the DTV for.
