People here are misinformed and think everything is a hoax in Thailand.

These officers just do their job. Visa excemption is 30 days you are even lucky that he counted the 60 days straight away even though it’s not guaranteed that you get the 30 day extension if something happens where you can’t get it.

Just stay 2 weeks longer, that’s it. Don’t look further no matter what anybody tells you.

Coming back to Thailand, flying and all the crap isn’t even worth it for 2 weeks.

Just stay 2 weeks longer go to Laos and head back to US.

That’s a crazy amount of headache if you wanna come back to Thailand just for 2 weeks.

the prices differ it might be 8,000 at your location.

In pattaya it’s around 6,000. I don’t know any agents in songkla to make a recommendation. Only pattaya.

If you can’t get a covid extension by yourself just pay 6,000 baht and let an agent do it for you…

You don’t have much time left because of songkran holidays.

Always do visa process at least 30 days in advance don’t wait too long.

Did you came back with a fresh passport or a passport full of Thai visa stamps and covid visa extension? Did they say anything about those stamps or why you stay so long in Thailand?

you should do the retirement visa, it’s more Safe and no they won’t tell you beforehand, they will stamp you the 7 day denied stamp in case they refuse to give you another covid extension visa.
