As they extended again the covid extension visa to 24.05.22 will this time NON immigrant visa holders also be eligible to get 60 day covid extension or are again only tourist visa and visa exempt holders be eligible?

Did anyone translate the letter and can confirm it 100% as this time there was no talk about non immigrant visa holders?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the extension of the COVID-19 visa regulations, particularly whether NON-Immigrant visa holders can receive a 60-day extension until May 24, 2022. Current indications suggest that, similar to previous policies, the extension may only apply to tourists and visa-exempt holders, leaving NON-Immigrant visa holders uncertain regarding their eligibility.

I have a PE Visa (or had until it expired during lockdown) and it's doesn't sit anywhere except being an expensive tourist visa but it looks like only tourist visas will be extended as announced in January. I have to leave at some point anyway to get my retirement visa but having lived here coming up to 9 years I would if been grateful of a little more time. But it is what it is

did you had 10 years thai elite visa? Wasn’t worth it right?

@Nadine *****
I actually got nearly 8 years out if a 5 year thanks to lockdowns. I wasn't old enough for a retirement visa at the time so it was my only option. We rescued and helped over 250 and cats in that time so yes it was worth every penny.

@Bim ******
couldn’t you get a volunteer visa all those years? Which wouldn’t cost a fracture of it and would be actually the right visa for animal rescuers?
Bim *******
@Nadine *****
and volunteer for who? I do 18 hour days looking after my own dogs. I wouldn't have time to volunteer for anyone else. We had the money at the time after we sold the house so it wasn't a problem.

maybe your own shelter? I mean you could easily start a foundation when you had so many dogs and get your own volunteer visa?

I always feel like the elite visa is a rip off
