Amex platinum ultimate (Australian) give up to 6 months if you buy your ticket with it. $450 annual fee but you get $450 travel credit annually. There are exclusions of course but I have used card insurance before in Thailand and it saved me with a bike accident this year.

you are only using the 800k for 2 months not a full year though.

I get boarding passes in my app or via email 90% of the time. Sometimes without explanation I have to go to the counter even without checked luggage.

good point but I think I should be able to check in online with no baggage. I will look more into this as I have had instances where they have insisted I check in at the counter instead without a clear reason why
