Hi All, Im in Australia, can I apply for the DTV now and the fly to Thailand and enter with visa exemption while the DTV is processing?
Then leave the country and reenter with the DTV?
My understanding is there is no physical sticker (ie evisa?
Reason being, I am leaving soon and cant be sure the DTV will process in time.
As far as I can tell Im not breaking any rules as I am applying when outside the country. Does this get voided if I enter while processing is occurring??

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking if they can apply for the DTV visa while in Australia, enter Thailand using a visa exemption, and then reenter Thailand later with the DTV visa once it is processed. They express concern about the timing of their application and whether entering Thailand during the DTV application process would void the application. Responses indicate that entering Thailand with a visa exemption while a visa is processing is generally acceptable.
This happens often when someone's visa takes too long to process and they don't receive it before they travel. There won't be any issues using a visa that was issued after you already entered Thailand.
