I had same issue, had 8 months left in passport, got marriage extension until end of passport, when I got new passport i transferred visa but only got the original 8 months so plan to have the 400 k seasoned.
Heres whats I submitted in Jomtien last 2 years, Two copies of everything in this order. (I've saved it on MS word doc for reference)
1. TM7 with 2 recent photos
2. Passport – main page, non-o and entry page with TM6
3. Marriage Cert
4. ROR 2 (had copy of original from 2001, not updated)
5. Wife ID
6. House book in wife’s name
7. Bank statement and letter from SCB for last 2 months obtained day before (no question where money came from)
8. Copy of bank book showing last 2 plus months with updated withdrawal of 2K that morning
9. Map of house – hand drawn on A4
10. Eight photos printed 2 per A4 page of wife and myself (Quality wasn’t fantastic which was why I included 8 opposed to recommended 6 for Jomtien)
1. Front of house with house number clearly visible
2. Wide shot of front house
3. Sitting on bed
4. Standing in Kitchen
5. Sitting on Sofa living room
6. Wide shot of standing in living room
7. Close up of standing in living room
8. Sitting outside on porch
11. Telephone number of neighbor to act as witness on house visit (family member not accepted). Will require housebook and ID card of neighbour during visit.
12. Fee 1900 baht, passport stamped for 30 days and told come back then for final decision.
As said prepare for the worse and start again as it needs to be approved by Bangkok so local IO doesn't have much leeway.....Also, you need to leave the 400k in during the 4 weeks of "under consideration" stamp as they can ask to see it again prior to issuing visa.
