I shared my own experience in details , and I call this FACTS no second hand . sorry if you didn't understand .

if you want to check out my friend's testimony you cross the border yourself . he works right over the bridge . he's done it for more than 20 years . and it can be said than almost everybody who crosses the bridge walks in front of him ! so Yes he's got a good insight about who crosses the bridge .

and when you are a farang it's quite hard not to look like one .

so he knows one or two farangs a day from a crowd of farangs like it used to be years ago . g

all customs in the world start by asking the same question : do you have anything to declare ? any illegal products or objects ?

if your answer is yes , then they'll ask you more questions .....

no problem for the 500 baths , it's not even a subject , as you get a receit and anyway there are always 3 or 4 agents in the room. There is absolutely no reason to deal with this matter as if it was suspicious , for it's not .

you go to a bank and after you wai you say : " please I would like to open an account in your bank. what kind of account do you have ? "

if the first one refuses try an other one .

now if you are married Why not try the same bank as your wife . it would for sure make things quite easy .
