- last minute cancellation , ??? of course you can always cancel ! - heavily booked ???? domestic flights are usually full . but there are so many flights everyday , you'll always find one . of course it's a little bit harder on week ends , or on official Thai holydays

no it's not a problem .if you share the infos. everyday people are wondering where they can cross ,

some people who haven't cross the border , some people who think that maybe it'is possible here or there , but don't know . some other try to guess .

2 or 3 days ago somebody ask if he could cross at Mae Sot . somebody told him that he didn't know , but told the guy ,if Mae Sot wasn't open he could try Mae Sai , like if Mae Sai was next door ! and if Mae Sai wasn't open he could cross all the north east of Thailand to go to Chiang Kong and across to Huay Xai in Laos ..

so I posted today to inform from experience , not from guesses , that Mai Sai border is opened , and if you can supply sufficient documents and pay 10 Us $ . you can get 30 days ...

But some people are still not satisfied with my clear detailed info .

if you want to check out my friend's testimony you cross the border yourself . he works right over the bridge . he's done it for more than 20 years . and it can be said than almost everybody who crosses the bridge walks in front of him ! so Yes he's got a good insight about who crosses the bridge .

and when you are a farang it's quite hard not to look like one .

so he knows one or two farangs a day from a crowd of farangs like it used to be years ago . g
