It’s actually very normal for Visas to be issued in this way. It’s always recommended to renew your passport, prior to applying for a long term visa.

Can I travel to Thailand while my DTV visa is still being processed?

Simple answer is no. If after you arrive in thailand, they ask for interview or photos of each passport page; your application will be rejected. Wait it out mate. It’s been a long holiday, so there will be some delays. Have patience, will be worth it.

Is it acceptable to use a bank statement from April 6th for a visa application on April 28th?

Request a closer date , as it may prompt them to come back to you with a request for the transactions between dates of April 6 & x date. Save yourself time

There’s an app called CamScanner. You can take a picture using your phone and it will convert it into like a scanned version. Then it can be put into a single PDF

What is the correct address format for the DTV visa application in Thailand: home address in the UK or Thai address?

Well, it depends. What’s your current visa? Technically, you shouldn’t be living here if you’re on a tourist visa, or exempt entry, but.. yeah.

I’d put your address in the UK, as I’m assuming that is what address your bank will have & will be on your bank statement(s)?
