What is the correct address format for the DTV visa application in Thailand: home address in the UK or Thai address?

Hi everyone,

I’m filling out the DTV visa application and had a quick question — under “Permanent Address,” should I enter my home address in the UK or my Thai address (since I live in Thailand)? I understand that “Current Address” should be my hotel here in Hanoi where I’m currently applying from, but I’m a bit unsure about what they’re expecting for the permanent one. Would appreciate any advice!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out the DTV visa application, it is advisable to enter your home address in the UK as your permanent address, since that is typically where you are officially registered. Your current address should reflect where you are staying in Thailand, like your hotel in Hanoi. If you have a Thai address associated with official documents like bank statements, it can be included if relevant.

Generally, I would enter the UK address under permanent adress. That's probably where you're officially registered. Current Adress is the Hotel in Hanoi and for the address in Thailand, I would enter the address that's on your thai bank statements.

Well, it depends. What’s your current visa? Technically, you shouldn’t be living here if you’re on a tourist visa, or exempt entry, but.. yeah.

I’d put your address in the UK, as I’m assuming that is what address your bank will have & will be on your bank statement(s)?
