If you are talking about income requirements, that just means that you have a total of

coming in per month to qualify for visa, what you do with it after it deposit is up to you.

If you are talking savings requirement id keep that in the account for your visa

I agree however it also prevents me from getting an account om my ED Visa would make things a slight easier and take away so much fees every month. It is what it is

ah well thats on them cause so many in here said ine day their bank froze their accounts and waiting weeks to get it back meanwhile the immigration office said they were restricting bank access to DTV to fight fraud and illegal activities this was back in june - july

Its not the bank its thailand changing requirements and security measures. They will go through with it. At least you were given this heads up as most people on DTV were not given the courtesy of a notice and one day got their accounts frozen

actually if you stop working you dont meet the requirements and they are cracking down on this. Reports have been made that they are checking at the airports mostly if the funds are avaible as required ( not common yet but has been asked ) so I wouldnt say just quit working
