Why was my Bangkok Bank account closed as a DTV holder, and what can I do about it?

Mine is locked. To unlock it they need my marriage visa. To get my visa I need the bank with the money, go figure 🤣 taking a trip to Kasikorn in Surin as they can be more relaxed, it's crazy

Anonymous participant 350 You will be playing a lottery. They will keep it open for now but maybe they'll check again next year, nobody knows. I think the current wave they called customers first to ask what their visa is. I missed my call so it was temporarily closed as I've gone from ED to Tourist.

What banking options do I have while on a DTV in Thailand?

Mine was closed two days ago. The only option is Non-O visa and yellow book to reopen. Luckily that's the route I'm taking but your only other option is Wise and cash. There are some services that allow QR payment but you have to go to the bank to top-up so it's pointless.

Bills can be paid on Lazada with MasterCard and Visa

Will my DTV application be negatively affected by my previous tourist entry rejection into Thailand?

The fingerprint is linked to their own system. I was pulled in immigration and they can actually find you based on just your photo as it gives a percentage score to match the person - they know exactly who you are even with a new passport, also not to forget that new passports have remarks that link it to your old one.

It's a tourist visa, tourists can rent a condo and not even be there. It's possible.

"I was honestly shocked — not sure if that’s even legal." Cry cry cry.. Of course it's legal you are trying to cheat immigration... Stop being a cheap Charlie and book a cancellable flight for a fee or get a land border ticket like a bus.
