I will dropped everything in a second to go living in this Isaan area. Matter of fact it’s my hometown now. This gorgeous view is about 15 minutes from my home.

After living in LA, NYC, San Francisco Orlando and now Dallas . Been there done that, I’m choosing to live out in the country where there is no Farang and not much of the city’s craziness. It’s just me

There’s a comment recommending the bank I told you to avoid! This particular bank taking so much time and paperwork! Just a simple changing thd phone number taking about 10-14 business days. Every thing must be send to the HQ in Bangkok. I was flying back and forth about 5 rounds trips when I was trying to get a loan and finally gave up on it. The air fare alone was almost 500k , luckily I was flying on the company’s benefits at the time.

it’s a norm price all around the country. Some more or less depending on the location. My 12 acres is 1.3 million THB, it’s an empty plot on top of the mountain. A nice house around my neighborhood is about 1.5 million as well.

Ive gave up trying to get approval on my American income. Thats over 20 years ago. Nowadays there are banks working and accepting abroad income and issuing loans . smaller banks are easier to deal with. Avoid BBL

Large provinces outside of BKK are offering multiple choices of nursing homes with so much less in cost. Most of them owned by doctors/healthcare providers. There are 3 in my area,all are full service and with MDs owners / nursing staff. Let me know if your relatives would considered it. It’s 30,000 per month all inclusive.
