Any government official can do the registration and issues the marriage certificate, fees are minimal. If you want them to come your place of choice you’ll need to set up a schedule, some do and some don’t.

Not sure about the UK but in The USA. I partitioned for my two children to join me after I’ve got my USA citizenship.

The process is transparent and straightforward, I did not pay an attorney but did it myself without a husband.

My children are here for almost 20 years now.

Tell her to starts the paperwork as soon as possible, at 18 her daughter will not be eligible (per the USA) or it’d takes much longer waiting time.

Udonthani Immigration office is known to be very effective and informative. Most if not all speaking English very well.

There a chance of people canceling their appointments and that’s your opportunity. No one can pin points where and when only choice is constantly checking the website.

If I were you I’d go to the USA citizen service department at the embassy in Bangkok(if that’s practical and durable) It’s in the building across from the main entrance, it’s call Sinthorn Building. Let the staff know your situation and ask them to relieve your circumstances to the visa department.

Same for USA driver license but without the IDP. for me.

Do not build until you are ready to move and never do it if you can’t personally on site and oversee every day.

Reputed builders are much easy to trust, do not do anything without a signed contract.

My renovation project was a complete disaster even I was in Thailand but different provinces.

Being a woman, alone was a big disadvantage,the construction workers were stealing everything they can whenever they want . Many items keep missing, even my agricultural equipment/items which stored in and around the storage area.

-Bank Statements on your phone NOPE!! Thai known as เสือกระดาษ every thing must be in form of papers , yes, the government say 4.0 policy; no paper, when confronted the staff about it the reply was simply; show me on paper 😂😩

By the way : bank statement not only that need to be in paper form but ALL pages must be notarized.
