I kept telling people they don’t want you to do extensions and everyone screamed “I have the right !!! It said so!!”” No, you don’t. It’s a tourist visa and you’re meant to come and go. And now, they are going to make you do that.

they don’t require it. They require the flight you will book. If different I usually book a refundable flight until it’s verified then cancel and buy the cheaper flight.

not my rules when I wanted it live in France I had to go to Germany to become a European resident just to use the French embassy in Germany bc the one in the USA would have taken a lifetime if ever to process the visa.

most embassies especially European ones want you to apply from your passport country. It’s not my favorite thing but then if you don’t some will after a certain time like 6 months or a year

You’re supposed to apply from your home country or where you have a residence permit. It’s the sea countries that are getting scrutinized for the very reason you are posting.

If you are applying in Laos or visa run countries that aren’t you home country they are starting to ask to verify documents at the point of entry now fyi
