What are some alternative scan payment apps for expats in Thailand who have switched to a DTV visa?
I was previously using True Money Wallet. But we switched from Non-O to DTV and they won’t let me use. Any other scan pay app recommendations? My husband a bank account, but they only allow 1 person on banking app.

I have full access truemoney with dtv and just my passport. Remember, first picture is passport, second picture is a selfie WITH PASSPORT.

I just signed for TrueWallet and my account was activated few days ago I used my passport info page only, they have not asked what type of visa I have.

If your husband opens another bank account for you with a different bank and your simcard is registered to his name, you should be able to have that separate banking app on your phone.
There is also tagthai and moretapay if you are ok with the fees.

I have full access on true money. Did not submit any visa docs, only motorbike license.

By one person per app you mean the app can be installed and opened only at one device at a time? Asking out of curiosity.

Yep, even for shared accounts... only one registered person, the app only on one device, phone number has to be registered with the account owner. If you want to change your phone or tablet or whatever you use, you need to go to the bank. That's how it is, at least for Bangkok Bank.

My GF has Kasikorn and there it is the same. I wonder why Thai banksmaking this stuff so difficult. My Netherlands and other EU accounts I can change from one device to another device without having to visit a bank office like it seems always necessary in Thailand.In Netherlands almost all bank offices are just gone, because nobody needs tem anymore.

I applied for true money when I already had my DTV visa. Sent a picture with the entry stamp and a picture of my visa (the one which got sent by mail by the embassy). Got full access to true money with that (full access for foreigners, can't buy insurance or get access to the financial area)

I recommend getting a Thai driver's license. I am on a DTV and use TrueMoney with no problem. Friend of mine was having the "provide documentation" problem, got a Thai DL, problem solved.Dany ********
