I read that there are more than few cases of being questioned upon entry and having to show some documents (workation) that should match the one you used to apply.
Is this true?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, there have been some reports of travelers being questioned upon entering Thailand, particularly at Chiang Mai airport. While many do not face issues, it's advisable to keep copies of the documents submitted during the visa application process accessible, as immigration officers may ask about your stay and purpose. However, it seems that this scrutiny isn't uniform across all points of entry.
Most of those reports mentioned they entered at Chiang Mai airport. Everywhere else seems normal.

The officer was looking at my passport for 5 minutes without questioning. Then he asked me how long I will stay in Thailand and what do I do, then stamped. He didn’t ask other papers.

There have been a few report of a few questions. Nothing too onerous. As for showing the documents you applied with Immigration do not have copies of these do they? How could they see?
