@Lynnette ******
not with in 3 days of arriving in Thailand this is wrong,it's 3 days before arriving in Thailand it is confusing!
Simon *******
Thanks for all your answers, it looks stupid to me the Thai government want you to fill the tdac in 3 day before to give them time to process it ,why can't you do it a week before to give them more time surly that would make sense.
Simon *******
It is only 15 months the first year ,12 months when renewed.

exactly if you have the right visa why extend it ,do a boarder run then say for 2 days job done.
Simon *******
@Stuart ********
yes I understand that but as they are tightening up I would keep the extension for at the end ,with a METV you will be allowed back you are not getting 60 day exemptions but a 60 day visa,you will have to do a boarder run after the extension anyway.

@Gamalier *******
They are tightening up on boarder runs and 60 day exemptions, with a 6 month 60 day tourist visa you are guaranteed to get back into Thailand.

@Gamalier *******
don't bother getting an extension on a multiple entry tourist visa it is valid for 6 months just do a boarder run every 60 days and you will get another 60 days each time ,then if you want to stay longer you can do a boarder run a few days before the 6 months is up and you will get another 60 days taking it to 8 months ,then you can get an extension if required to 9 months.

I would look at the less touristy places and see the real Thailand.
