Should I use a safe entry service for my third entry into Thailand in three months?

Hello,

I will be doing a third entry in Thailand in about 3 months this in total, would you recommend getting a safe entry service?

I’ve seen posts of people being rejected all the time here with visa exemptions.

Here is my recent travel history:

• First entry into Thailand: June 5th to July 16th (total: 42 days)

• Trip to Indonesia: July 16th to July 23rd

• Second entry into Thailand: July 23rd to August 13th (total: 21 days)

• Now traveling to the Philippines: August 13th to August 30th

I plan to return to Thailand on August 30th and stay for another 60+30 days, but I’m concerned because it would be my third entry in under three months, even though the total time spent in Thailand is around 63 days.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing for a third entry into Thailand in three months and is concerned about potential rejection at immigration due to multiple entries. They have shared their travel history and seek advice on whether to use a safe entry service or pursue a long-term visa instead. Responses from the community suggest that while there are risks with frequent entries, many believe the user should be fine, especially if they can provide necessary documentation. Some recommend getting a long-term visa to avoid issues in the future.

I also think y'r okay. I mean this is what a 'normal tourist' would/can do. On top of that you did not ask for a 30 day extension so far. Be sure you have the 3 proofs. (20k฿ or equivalent in cash, place to stay and onwards travel outside Thailand).

That’s no guarantee of an entry. If an officer feels you’re trying to “buck the system” of free entry stamps or tourist visas they’ll deny you entry anyway.

Granted having a visa over visa exempt will be less likely for a denial but it’s not a guarantee.

Nothing is guaranteed I know but you should stand a better chance if you have gone to the trouble of getting a visa.

No one can say for sure as it’s up to the specific immigration officer you hand your passport to.

Your previous entries don’t seem to show an issue that “you could be working here illegally” - which is the red flag that catches many, but 3 times in 3 months is anyone’s guess.

My guess (and it is just that) is that if you have an officer having a bad hair day they may pull you aside and question you but there’s not enough history to really warrant a denial and they may well caution you to get a visa for your next visit.

Reality is you may have an officer that doesn’t give a toss and will stamp you in, or your may get an officer who’s past having a bad hair day and in full meltdown mode and deny you.

Chances of the latter are slim, but a safe entry service would mitigate that.

If I were in your shoes I’d let it fly and see what comes up. But that’s just my opinion. If you’re worried go for the service and don’t fret about entry.

Alternatively apply for a DTV through Manila while you’re there and have a 5 year multiple entry visa. Obviously conditions apply.

yeah I’m a bit afraid that the DTV takes a lot of time and I get stuck on Manila. I’m planning to apply to DTV at the end of the year on my own country, that’s why I was thinking of just entering on another exempt. I don’t really mind paying the extra 3000TBH for the safe entry for extra peace of mind tho, that’s why I’m considering that .
