He needs a certificate of residence from immigration,and most banks don't accept a hotel. Some banks wants at least a 6 months contract if staying in a condo or house as a tenant. Requirements differ between banks.
Sorry,but your comment is not the smartest ever. So, in your world Wise is a bank because the money you transfer goes to a bank? You don't need to be a bank to transfer money. A financial institution can also do that, and that's what Wise is.
At the London Embassy, employment is not required when applying for the METV,but there are still some countries in Europe where that requirement still exist. This guy might have picked wrong country.
Wise is registered as a financial institution, nothing else. Why argue about something you obviously don't understand anything about? A bank is officially a totally different thing.
I think you have misunderstood the post. It's not about how to to do extensions or border runs. It's about staying to long as a tourist and eventually being questioned by immigration.
