I opened account with BKK back in Jan 2024, no agent ..... just provided what they asked for. I arrived and had (Tourist visa 30 days) , stamp on arrival which I extended.

they want to see income from your business/employment etc. a deposit in an account is meaningless.

Who said unlimited ???? it's 2 boarder runs and lots of comments on Thai legal sites, stating they have to include overnight stays.

Any stay over 180 days in one year, you become a tax resident. I think a lot of people are overlooking this. Maybe that is the idea to catch you as tax resident. I have DTV but staying only 175 days.
