Anonymous participant 319 I don’t pay taxes here because I pay them in Australia, but I bring a lot of my money into Thailand. I wish my pay was taxed here and not Australia, the taxes are less here lol

I’m on disability pension so I did soft power medical. Not sure how your disability pension works but with mine I get reimbursed for medical treatment overseas. So I get physio here for my crook back.

ah yeah I just checked, I would save about 100 baht transferring from wise to Thai bank rather than withdrawing 20k baht from the ATM

Why do you want one if your income isn’t coming from Thailand?

When you transfer your money from your country to a Thai bank you will pay fees and depending on the bank may lose money from the exchange rate.

Just pay the 220 baht ATM fee on max withdrawal amount.

Thai banks don’t generate much interest. I’m not sure about UK banks, but I leave mine in my Australian bank and get about 5 percent
