What is the best option to extend a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand: now or later?

Like people have said its generally not doable before your last week. Just make sure a TM30 has been done for everyone extending who use staying at your friends house. The TM30 needs to be done within 24 hours of arriving at the property I believe.

Can I apply for a Thailand eVisa with a dummy ticket or should I purchase a real ticket?

I have been asked for a flight booking confirmation in the past so I think it really comes down to the embassy your application goes through. If you have no reason to suspect you'd be rejected, I'd book the flights first.

Can I travel to Thailand three times a year without a visa if my total stay is less than 90 days?

Steven ******

You should be fine. My work rotation has me away from Thailand for a month and then in Thailand for a month. I've been asked questions a few times but I've always been able to provide the correct answers. I think they are more interested in the people that spend most of the year in Thailand using border bounces and extensions.

Can I open a bank account in Thailand on a DTV with insurance requirements?

Steven ******

Look into tag thai using the pay & tour card. It's will give you access to the QR code scanning and once you've got the card you can top it up from the app. I've never used it so I'm not sure if there is an atm withdrawal cost. Check it out, may be useful to you.

I've never had any hassle from HSBC if you want a bank you can actually go to but i find revolut to be best if you would be okay with an online account.

Is the Thai Elite Visa worth the cost given recent price increases?

I read somewhere, don't remember where so it could be bollocks, that the benefits of bronze were going to be changed and increased as the DTV has all but stopped people from going for Bronze Privilege.

me too, I fly monthly for work and so far I've had no issues getting into lounges. Apparently the UK airports are a bit funny with the lounge pass but ive been in Bangkok, Dubai, Istanbul and Amsterdam without issue.
