this isn't necessarily true. If all you're doing is withdrawing small amounts, say 10k each time, you are better off exchanging cash of you find a decent exchange rate and are exchanging £50 notes. However as the OP is asking about maximum withdrawal, you can get a better deal withdrawing 30k baht from my revolut card than I do exchanging cash.
My girlfriend has been to the UK 3 times now, once on a 6 months visa and then the next 2 times on the same 2 year visa. We never had any trouble with applying for he visa, we did all the application ourselves without the use of an agent. The UK government website has a list of things it needs and we gave them exactly what they asked for.
. I have been advised by a few people on a post I made and a visa agency that a multi entry non o visa would be best for me as I'm not married, but we live together and have a son.
I wouldn't write of the Isuzu MU-X. The Thais swear by Toyota and Isuzu for their reliability. I'm going to make a very similar choice next year when I've finished paying for my D-MAX. I use a Toyota pick up truck daily during my job driving off road through the desert, the thing really is faultless. All of the same cars are available here in Libya as in Thailand but I'm not exaggerating when I say 90% of thr cars are toyotas. So here is my input. I currently drive an Isuzu which is really well built, a little cheaper than the toyota and a lot cheaper than the ford. When I change my car next year I'll be looking mainly at Isuzu and Toyota for the 7 seater SUV. I can't deny that the Ford Everest, especially the sport is the best looking but there is a reason why so many people choose Toyota all over the world. Happy car shopping, it's one of my favourite things!
thanks for the comment, this is the second time I've heard this today and will probably end up the way I go about it. Do you ever get pulled to one side and asked about it by immigration staff? If so has it increased since they changed it from 30 to 60 days, a few people have said that they have become a bit stricter.
thanks for the info. It's been a bit of a hard couple of years with COVID, her being pregnant, not working, me changing jobs to a job that didn't pay for travel and then the cost of all the baby stuff after he was born, so now since I've started a new job that is paying for my flights it may be time to take them on a little trip and go for the non O.
