But using the Visa Exempt entry he must (just in case) have a ticket out of Thailand after the 60 days expires..right?

I understand..But surprised that they make such a mistake. But does not really change anything for me..I think I will apply for the Visa so close to November 1 as I dare. In that way I won't have to show a ticket out. Then leave close before the Visa expires, and return on a Visa exemption. Thank you for helping clarify my options.

No must be later..I have an eVisa Multiple and valid one year...but it expires October 17, and I don't enter Thailand before November 1

Thanks for the answer. That's what clued me in too. I would much rather have a visa like I usually do. It is of course easier and cheaper to arrive on a visa exemption, but doesn't that mean I have to get a ticket out of Thailand within the 60 days? ..and that I will have to bring cash equivalent to 20k baht?

Sorry…I fail to explain

I buy my non imm O at the Thai embassy in Copenhagen …I stay in Thailand 6 months a year (The rigidly danish pension law says I have to stay in the EU half the year to obtain my full pension.)

So I stay in Denmark 6 month in the summer, and in Thailand in the wintertime.

I guess I will buy a new non imm o at the end of October.. Then I only have to leave on time, to stay here 6 months as usual 😀
