I,m about to apply for the Non Imm O Visa (I use to have a multi entry Visa valid for one year. I leave the country a few days before 90 days have passed..Come back after a week or so, and be stamped in for another 90 days..This gives me the 6 months I use to stay here.
I have a flight ticket ..arriving in BKK November 2., and would apply for the Visa…BUT the Visas have changed, so the Non Imm O is only a single Visa for 90 days…
So what to do..I need advice
I could drop the Visa and use the Visa Exemption. 60 days + extension..then leave (as I use to) and come back and do the same one more time.
Sorry the long text..but I am a bit chocked..
What options do I have..advice will be appreciated a lot.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Danish passport holder seeks advice on the recent changes to the Non-Immigrant O Visa, which is now only valid for a single 90-day stay, as opposed to a multi-entry visa. They are considering options, including using the Visa Exemption for 60 days plus an extension, followed by crossing the border to reset their stay.

I understand..But surprised that they make such a mistake. But does not really change anything for me..I think I will apply for the Visa so close to November 1 as I dare. In that way I won't have to show a ticket out. Then leave close before the Visa expires, and return on a Visa exemption. Thank you for helping clarify my options.
yes it does. If you want a visa you could look at the METV but the requirements are the same. Can I ask the reason why you want to avoid a ticket out of Thailand?
I have a flight ticket out of Thailand. ..Mai 1 2025 ..I will be going out of Thailand several times during the 6 month..But now I guess I also have to buy tickets I won't be using.
Thanks for the answer. That's what clued me in too. I would much rather have a visa like I usually do. It is of course easier and cheaper to arrive on a visa exemption, but doesn't that mean I have to get a ticket out of Thailand within the 60 days? ..and that I will have to bring cash equivalent to 20k baht?
