just being born in Australia doesn't make him Australian. That stopped in the 70s. Having an Australian parent gives you the right to an Australian Passport and citizenship.

not for me. I'm on a retirement visa last time I got a years extension in Phuket they wanted 3 years of bank details. I couldn't believe it.

from what I've been told started on a 3 month marriage visa then had 6 months of covid extentions so only been in country 9 months hard to have 12 months proof with only 9 months in country
