I've open 2 for the same reason. You can still get a visa card with Bangkok bank if you open an Air Asia credit card account comes with a master and visa card. I've opened accounts with K bank other with Krungthai bank

Depends on the bank most won't open an account on a tourist visa. TMB won't open an account unless you have a work permit
