Hi! Apologies in advance if these are stupid questions however I'm having some trouble with my visa application and wondered if someone could help me please? I have flights booked for the 4th of Feb, I am flying from the UK. I am looking to get a TR EVisa however upon filling out the application I'm a bit unsure of some things.

- Place to stay in thailand. Do I need to have my airbnb and ASQ booked prior to applying for the visa? As it also asks for proof of accomodation booking.

- Financial Evidence, my business will be covering the costs of my trip along with my friend. Will she need to have a certain amount of money in her account to get accepted for the visa?

- Confirmation of legal residence in a country in which you are applying for the visa. My friend is Croatian, she has pre settlement status here in the uk along with national insurance number etc... will a copy of her pre settlement agreement cover this?

- Are two people allowed to share a room in ASQ hotels or is it limited to 1 person per room?

Thanks in advance for all the help :D

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing for a TR eVisa application to Thailand and has several questions about prerequisites, including whether to book accommodation (Airbnb and ASQ) before applying, the financial evidence required for both the user and a friend, legal residence documentation for the friend's Croatian nationality, and regulations regarding room sharing in ASQ hotels. Comments provide answers on needing accommodation booked prior to the application, the necessity of showing sufficient funds regardless of business covering expenses, and details about ASQ room-sharing rules.

Common law marriage aren't recognised in Thailand either

If you're coming from UK, this group is very helpful with application issues. And advice is free

Only married couples can share an ASQ room. They need to see marriage cert. But you can try booking adjoining or connected rooms

Phil not locked in many hotels. I hear you. I travel, solo. Always 😁

You must have the ASQ booking and paid fir from their list and the Covid insurance policy for $100k , bought and Isidro for and flight. Just got my COE. Very difficult.

Its not that difficult, i came back in July when the borders just opened, one of the first Non Os to come in and everything was new to everyone.

Just sit down make a list and go through it. Good old pen and paper

Yeah it's not very simple it seems. I was under the impression the application would be fairly straight forward. Found a agency called travel trunk so hopefully they can help otherwise I'm staying in london haha

good old pen and paper won’t make it easier. It has changed significantly since July and will continue.

its taking time to go through everything, not trying to take on everything at once. Its actually a lot easier now than since July, if you search group my name and singapore you will find a report i did of getting in.

In all fairness, if I had this many questions/obstacles to taking a trip; I’m not taking that trip. What a pain in the ass travel has become. Good luck

I can answer one thing too

Even though your business is paying. You need to show them that you have sufficient amount to sustain your stay for the duration

I am going to try and go through an agency to apply for the visa. It seems quite complicated to go through it all. Thank you for the help :D

My business account will have enough to cover it but would I have to transfer everything into my personal account?
Tony *********
@Jake *********
that is what I am not sure about .

I'm assume if your business account has your name on it should be fine
Michael ********
I can only answer last one no sharing of ASQ unless you are married or family (kids)
