Anonieme deelnemer 581 The AIS receipt was needed anyway to proof name and address of bank account number match with name and address of phone number because that now is needed to use the app as a security measure for Thai banks.

@Craig ******
This is not a new measure they take, it is already going on for quite a while. My gf had to arrange this already in January.

It is for all Thai bank accounts.

Did you miss it or were you the whole time in Europe?

Anonieme deelnemer 517 The trip to AIS is not related to the missing bank book I think, or am I missing something?

Anonieme deelnemer I am not making fun about other peoples mistakes, if you read all my posts in this topic, you would see it is my opinion they designed the system wrong. It should not be possible to enter data before scanning, getting it overwritten, and after scanning you should get a message that you have to check and correct the scanned data. Making an option to correct after submitting does not really make sense. What should people make aware they might check their data again? And what would be possible to change in that case? All data? Or just scanned data?

@Ray ****
look at the stories of US embassies asking
*****
or even
*****
. Why you don't believe members here? If you need some hard proof and don't believe others, just ask yourself. It must be a very hard live for you, distrusting everything.

Better round with more than a few hundred, most embassies ask quite a bit more, so rounding up EUR and USD to at least the next thousand.

I don't see what you mean then, the money does not need to be in your home country, the money does not need to be in the country you apply.

The applicant does not need to apply in the home country, the applicant does not need to apply in the country where the money is.

More possibillities I do not see...

Anonieme deelnemer 929 Why should you go to Penang and apply there when you are in Vietnam?

Malaysia is not known as the easiest country to apply.

@Reilly ******
A lot of people here applied with bank statements from a different country than the country they applied from.

I applied in my home country with bank statements from another country without any problem.
