I've used Thailand for the past 5 years as a home away from home base, but I've never actually stayed this long (since March last year when it all started) here in country. I'm looking to get out, and looking at Mexico, I don't care if I can't come back again for the next 6 months.
In fairness I've never ever tried DTAC in my 4 years here so I guess it could be true. Also in fairness everyone I ever asked never once said DTAC was better than True or AIS.
Download the speedtest app and share your speed results? honestly curious.
I'm already in Thailand and been here over a year so I'm not familiar with the particulars or quarantine. With that said, if you can have anything delivered to you, it may be possible to have someone buy it for you at any 7-11. True and AIS are the two main phone companies and it costs like $10 per month for an unlimited plan or pay as you go for 30 days. I'd suggest buy both and test their speeds at your particular location. Download the app "Grab" which is like Uber/Uber Eats/Postmates all rolled into one.
It was in the news a couple weeks ago how one electrical wire (I assume short circuited) was touching the railing for the pedestrian bridge to cross a road. The way they fixed it? they posted a sign/picture saying danger don't touch... oh lordy.
(to be fair, maybe it was a good samaritan who had no authority to fix the wires and put the sign up to help others)
You can book via Expedia (I think only the US website) for refundable flights and hotel within 24hours just look for the results that say 'Free Cancellation'. Then print out the confirmations and cancel everything.
