 yes. Many aspects still unclear. I am on a Non O retirement. My main concern is the new tax scheme. Time will tell.

She could get a job in Thailand and stay on a Non B.

You could purchase a privileged visa for 5 or 10 or 20 years.

She could get an education Visa to study Thai or cooking or Muay Thai.

DTV visa for 5 years at 180 days per entry.
