@Simon ******
- I had a similar dilemma. I wasn't happy/sure that my daughter would be allowed to leave on her UK passport, as it had no entry stamp in it. So, I got her a Thai passport. It was easy, cheap and quick. Immigration still questioned me at the airport as to where the mother was. They also talked to my daughter and eventually let us through. My daughter was 8 at the time. You really should,if possible, get her a Thai passport.

I wouldn't go tomorrow as immigration offices are closed.

- Then the office you are dealing with are not following the rules. You are entitled to a 60 day extension without any letter from an Embassy.

@Bobby *********
- Have you already used up one 60 day extension this trip?

You'll be in a room for 14 days. Absolutely no visitors in quarantine .

Yes, i've often wondered that. It does seem arse about face.

@Bobby *******
- Yes, this is the case now, but it's a guess to say how long the quarantine measures will last. Next week it may be shelved. Next month, nobody knows, so it's a guess. If anybody has a source it's Richard Barrow but nobody on here has a clue.

@Bobby *******
- No,he can't but his advice has much more meaning than people on here guessing.

@John ******
- All schools are open for teachers. Just the kids aren't back yet. Most teachers have been back at school for 5 or 6 weeks, some for longer.
