Posted a month ago about how immigration told me I could stack 30 day extension and 60 day family visit extension. There were some comments saying it was either or. Chiang Rai immigration today granted me the 60 day family extension while I am still on the 30 day after entering 30 day exempt. It's not quite the 120 days because for the 60 day they made it 60 from today rather than 60 from the end of the 30.

First Non-o extension questions. I arrived in Thailand Nov 1 and have a 90 day non-o stamped in until 29th Jan. My Thai spouse and I aren't married yet but we have an 8 year old daughter so I planned to do my first extension based on Thai child. 400k has been in the bank in my name a long time already so ok there. I have printed a TM7 already. Phetchabun will be the office I am applying at does anyone have the latest checklist or info on exactly what docs are required. If possible I would like to get as much ready so hopefully dont need to make multiple trips as it's 100klm away. Im 43 so wont be a retirement extension. Any info is much appreciated and thanks in advance. Dave

Hi. Hope everyone is coping well and thanks for the updates these last few months.

Entered on a 30 day exempt in March with the intention of getting married, but couldn’t do that until recently because of obvious reasons. Went to Muang Thong Thani yesterday to try and get the 60 day visiting family extension (in which time I plan to season financial funds) but couldn’t as I didn’t have an Embassy letter.

I was under the impression the letters were required for 30 day extensions, but perhaps that was my mistake and it’s now all extensions.

I’ve requested the embassy letter then plan to book an appointment and return to Muang Thong Thani next week to start the process again. IYO, does that sound like the correct plan of action for myself right now? Or would I be better going to a different immigration office for the 60 day extension?

Thanks so much
