You can call your airline and ask for their policy regarding this. I know Lufthansa, KLM/Air France, Emirates can be strict.

Correct, you’ll just need a cheap ticket out when you enter without a visa. This is rarely checked in the immigration but you might risk your airline will ask for it as the can be fined and responsible for your return if formal requirements aren’t fulfilled.

No, you don’t need any return ticket. If you enter Thailand on a 60 days visa exemption without any visa you’ll formally need a ticket OUT of Thailand within maximum 60 days if your airline ask for it.

Tickets from Bangkok to Europe is not cheaper in Thailand. Best price is normally a tour/return ticket, but one way tickets are also affordable.

If you travel on a one way ticket from Paris to Bangkok on a 60 days visa exemption you’ll formally need to show proof of an onward ticket within 60 days if your airline ask for it. Same if you re-enter Thailand from Vietnam on another visa exemption.

Change fingerprints as well?

If you maximise two visa exemptions in a row and stay for 180 days, the rest would easily become a gamble.

Past 50 years and monthly income/pension equal to min 65K baht or 800K baht in a thai bank, you can stay for life at date. (Non immigrant visa and extension of stay)

Formally tourist visa and visa exemption are the same, you’ll need an onward ticket within the days you’ll get stamped in for in the first place. This will never be any issue in the immigration unless they pull you aside and start questioning you for some other reason, and the airlines are probably more strict when you travel without any visa at all.

The extension is always solely in the discretion of the immigration officer and not a right you have as they like to put it.

This is from the immigration stating you’ll need a ticket out within the days of your tourist visa and some embassies/consulate don’t even issue a tourist visa without an onward ticket within 60 days.

Still a formal requirement in the immigration. That’s why your airline could care in the first place, but rarely checked unless they pull you aside and start questioning you for some other reason.
