You’ll get an extension of stay until your passport expires.

Two months prior and three months after the extension , -gives you a seven months window for the 400K baht.

No it’s not, a METV could normally give you up to nine months in Thailand. But they’re getting stricter now anyway if you stay for more than six months in total in Thailand. This will be no issues for you anyway.

Yes if you enter Thailand before the visa itself expires you’re still able to get another 60 days stamp or permission to stay and can also apply for a 30 days extension. (Time of your visa and the stamp or stay it gives you upon entry is two different things).

A single entry tourist visa is valid 90 days after its issued and gives you a 60 days stay one time upon arrival within these 90 days. A METV is valid for 180 days and give a 60 days stay each time you enter within these 180 days.

Sorry but you applied a bit to early to get the full advantage of a METV. You’ll get 60 days upon arrival the 8 of June and can do a 30 days local extension or do another re-entry. If you re-enter short time before the September 25 you’ll still get another 60 days stay and can apply for a 30 days extension.

@Jim ******
That’s true until the crackdown in February.

@Jessica *****
60 days visa exemption is offered to passport holders from 93 nations. If you’re not among these you’ll need to a apply for a tourist visa to get a 60 days stay.

Onward ticket within 60 days is basically an airline issue rarely checked in the immigration and a changeable flexi ticket is a good option for a 90 days stay.

At date you’ll get a 60 days visa exemption and free stamp upon arrival.
