What i want to be sure about is: My non o visa needs to be renewed on 26 november 2025 but my passport expires on 2nd of august 2026, will i still be able to renew my visa but only to the expire date. TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a non-O retirement visa, valid for 9 years, and plans to return home in June 2026. They are concerned about renewing their visa on November 26, 2025, while their passport expires on August 2, 2026. Several comments clarify that the visa extension will align with the passport expiration, and it is possible to renew the extension, but the new permit will not exceed the passport’s expiration date.

You visa carries on with the new passport but you have to keep them together

Ask if the visa exemption is valid for the new passport, I believe it is

you don't have a retirement visa any more, you are already on a "1-year extension of stay permit" (a "retirement extension", not a visa) which is valid until November 26th. Any newly issued "extension of stay permit" will only be issued for another full year or maximum until the date your passport expires

You’ll get an extension of stay until your passport expires.

this.. Your extension will be for one year, or for the duration of your current passport. Whatever comes first.
