Ok, the embassy normally requires your latest tax return or pension letter for affidavit letters and you’ll probably be able to show your bank statements too so all you can do is to make an appointment and bring your documentation and see what they’ll say.

If you hold a NZ passport you’ll be able to get a affidavit letter regarding income.

As any citizen on any entries you can apply for a 60 days extension visiting Thai family if you’re married Thai or have a Thai child, also if you’re on a 60 days visa exemption and have already done a 30 days visa extension.

You are asking about ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for those traveling without any visa. It’s postponed and no one knows anything about this yet.

What we know at date is it’s announced that the TM.6 form for entry will be active again from may in an online version.

No issues when leaving, but you probably will get fined next time you register your new 90 days report or have any errands at the immigration.

Nong Khai - Vientiane is still known to be one of the easiest bordepoints, but some have startet to demand one and two nights out for foreigners doing border bounce.

Everything is in the discretion of the IO your standing in front of and depends of your travel history. Chiang Mai has become more strict than it used to be. Safest option is always land borders and land border transport companies.

If you have a two years temporary thai driver license you’ll get a five years permanent licence when you renew it with a Non O visa. Just did it two weeks ago.

You can apply for an appointment online through this app and you’ll need a residence certificate and a health certificate as well.

You’ll also need to watch the movie in the link and answer some simple questions. At the DLT you do the regular test regarding sight and reaction.

If you don’t have a TM.30 done just register one before you use the immigration and you’ll be fine.
