TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-O Visa in Thailand, it is indeed necessary to provide financial records. Applicants must submit bank statements reflecting either monthly income requirements or total funds. Specifically, for income-based applications, three months of bank statements must be provided, showing a minimum income of £1,500 per month or 65,000 Baht. For funds-based applications, a statement indicating 800,000 Baht is required. Different embassies may have varying requirements, so checking the corresponding embassy’s website is recommended.

Best you sent them all your money so they can count it

Yes it's correct, I had to show it for non o retirement too.

3 months of bank statements should do it. You can only upload one document. Use Google docs. Import 3 jpg images of statements into a new document. Resize by click and drag to get 2 images on one page. Download as pdf. Upload that. Must not be larger than 3mb.

When applying for this in South Africa I needed to show that I had 800k in a Thai bank which I’ve had for decades plus a letter of invitation by a sponsor and three months of their Thai bank statements 🤷‍♀️ Never been asked for that before . Each embassy seems to have their own requirements.

What kind of sponsor? What if you know absolutely nobody in the country? In this case, who is supposed to invite you? Invite you to what or for what?

it was actually my husband and he had to supply a letter of invitation to sponsor me 🤪 - made no sense to me but they asked for one 🤷‍♀️ I needed the visa so I jumped through the hoops

Did you not check the requirements of the visa before you started applying? The website of the embassy you're using should have them.

Yes it's correct I recently applied through London embassy. They need you to show bank statements with the correct amount of money to meet the visa requirements. As Jan has said above 800k baht or 65k baht monthly equivalent in your uk bank account and you can only do this by uploading your bank statements

It’s has to be right if they ask for it come on

If you apply based on monthly income you’ll need to provide three months bankstatments. If you apply based on funds it’s sufficient with a updated bank statement showing current status.

Income minimum £ 1,500 a month.

Fund £ 18,000.

some embassies want to see proof of three months of a deposit of 800,000 THB

Ok, at least not the embassy in London, and normally it’s sufficient with current balance at date regarding funds for a Non O, also for a Non O in country Thailand.

You’ll need to download a three months statement from your bank as a PDF-file and upload this in the e-visaportal.
