We are looking at requirements for Non o 90 day visa, it asks for confirmation of legal residence, what document would cover that , I thought the Uk passport which they ask for would have , any suggestions in the UK ? Also health insurance, we have a year travel insurance that needs renewed in September which we will extend easily but I can’t see anything on insurance to cover covid . We hope to complete this week but reading reviews and other questions online the Thai e visa site seems a bit difficult to navigate . Any suggestions/ advice would be appreciated. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a Non-O 90-day visa in Thailand, you need to confirm your legal residence. Acceptable documents include a utility bill or a UK driver's license. It is noted that there is typically no health insurance requirement for a Non-O visa, despite what some outdated sources might say. If the Thai e-visa site indicates health insurance is necessary, it could be referring to a Non-OA visa instead, which has different requirements. You can proceed with uploading a copy of your UK passport ID page as proof of residence. If you are unsure about the application process, it is advisable to take it step by step.

What if you do not have a UK driver's license because you just moved to the UK from the US. But have a UK passport. I suppose a rental agreement would suffice?

Thanks guys for responses we haven’t opened our online applications yet but the website for requirements might be old , asks copy of pension over £1000 or bank statement with 5k showing, confirmation of residence, health insurance includes covid cover , perhaps it is an old notice , it’s definitely for non o 90 day . So we will open the Thai visa to complete and perhaps we can do it a little at a time to see what it asks .

"document indicating current location" means you could use an up to date utility bill or your U.K. drivers licence. And there is no health insurance requirement for a Non-Imm-O visa

If you apply in UK with a UK passport you can just upload the ID-page of your passport one more time.

This is from the thai embassy in Norway.

A UK passport won't show where he's residing.

Will your driver licence or a bill with your name and address?

Non of the alternativs in fact will prove your residence at date, but you might risk they’ll ask you to upload all passport pages including blank ones too. If you apply from abroad you just upload your last entry stamp.

Anyway it’s sufficient for a visa application as mentioned in the website from the embassy and I’ve got a Non O without issues by uploading my ID page twice.

If it mentions insurance you are not looking at the requirements for a Non-O but for a Non-OA which is a 12 month visa

It's an old requirement, embassy websites rarely get updated.

Usually a utility bill will suffice. There is no insurance requirement for a Non O.
