After 30 day extension you can only get a 7 day extension (same cost and procedure of 30 day extension)

If you cannot buy a 60 day tourist visa before entering the Country, just arrive and get 30 day visa exempt stamp; then go to an Immigration Office inside Thailand and buy a 30 day extension (1,900 baht); then fly out/in or just do a border run to get new 30 day visa exempt stamp
