Hi

So if you previously had an ed visa and then switched to covid extensions for the last year,does it now mean you are able to apply for another covid extension?

Thanks..

@Benjamin *****
thank you for you reply..have you any idea that if they were to reject the application they would put the 7 day stamp in my passport?.

My visa runs out on 14th march.i was planning to go s month before to apply for covid extension.but if they were to put a 7 day stamp in my passport I would be screwed..it would be nice to think you could speak to an officer ,but immigration is normally chaos..wow , stressful time ahead

Hi guys

Sorry for being a little ignorant to the types of visa.

I arrived December 2020 on a 60 tourist visa.i extended the standard 30 days.then i have been on covid extension ever since..so does this mean I have a better chance to get chance to get another covid extension compared to the people that have switched to other visas over the period of their stay..or does it mean I'm still likely to only get a 7day stamp if I go to immigration to extend..

Once again,sorry if it's a slightly dumb question,but I'm seeking clarity.)

Thanks in advance.

Is it right that you have to get the fit to fly certificate after your covid 72 hour result..if so ,how would you have time to book a doctor's appointment or get them to sign a fit to fly form..?

From what I'm reading ,the covid test result is at best arriving 1 day before your flight departure..

Or maybe you can take the test maybe 4 or 5 days before and just ensure the result doesn't arrive earlier than 72hours before..

Is this possible?

Any informed decisions would be very welcome..))

i think im leaning towards going to london to do the test..but i dont want to do this because then i would have to go on the train and increase the risk of getting this stupid f....ing covid.....

@Matt ******
did you do your swab test more than 72 hours before? i assume you did because there wouldnt be enough time to swab,then post it ,then pray it comes back the next day..

@Matt ******
could you clear something up for ..im led to believe that its 72 from when you get the result,not from when you do the swab..so for instance,if i was flying midday thursday ,i could do the test at home saturday and send it .then you would hopefully get the result monday or tuesday at the latest.....why is this whole process such a stress.....good luck with your test
