When you apply visa and they approve it with the oneway ticket of course it's ok. Why they give a visa if it's not!!! Done it many times with TR visa too.

Thats MASSIVE overstays! I overstaid 30 days. There was a limit when you not only pay the fine but also get prison time. That was for overtays like 40+ days.

I forgot to extend my 60 day with 30 days onse and got fined for 30 days. Next year went back...NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER.

Why was a man with COVID-19 put into quarantine with others instead of being hospitalized alone?

My guess is that he got his result late afternoon and the hotel he stay at from start was not a Hospitel and they could not find anything that late for him. It's hard when no one speaks good english and the tourist do not speak a word of thai. Then they go rude and non informative when it's a serious situation.

In case it was free compare to the risk to get a 200k+ bill I would had been ok in a way. I would had made friends as I speak thai and it's not worse than living in a bamboo hut in the forest as I have done that for longer than he has to stay in this building. It only need a good emagination and find games to play then the days fly away.

It's all the same Thai or Farang. Only differens is that if a Thai tests positive and symptoms is mild they can most likely quarantine at home. So for us...my thai wife and me...if we test positive I have to quarantine in a $$$$$ hospitel but she can go home to our house in Thailand. Yes we live together in Europe.

If you don't have any symptoms??? They still cover??? And if you get quarantined because your neighbour seat tested positive...They cover??? Come On! What Insurance company you have?
